Hong Kong is set to become the epicenter of the global bar industry as it hosts "The World's 50 Best Bars 2025" for the first time. This event underscores the city's significant influence on international mixology.
Following the success of last year's Asia's 50 Best Bars awards in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is collaborating with 50 Best again to present this prestigious awards ceremony.
On October 8th, the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal will serve as the venue for the live unveiling of The World’s 50 Best Bars list. The ceremony will take place against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour.
A key event highlight will be the Bartenders’ Feast, a gathering held the night before the awards to honor the talented individuals behind the bars recognized in this year’s ranking.
The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025 list will be revealed during a grand ceremony on October 8th, featuring red-carpet arrivals and a pre-show drinks reception before the live countdown.
Dane Cheng Ting-yat, the executive director of the HKTB, stated that Hong Kong is preparing to welcome leading figures from the global bar scene. He emphasized that Hong Kong's bar culture reflects its diverse heritage and innovative approach, establishing it as a premier destination for cocktail enthusiasts worldwide.
"We are excited to host this event in Hong Kong this October, which will begin a month-long celebration of food and drink, leading up to the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival, the city's signature culinary event, at the end of the month," Cheng added.
